St Stephen’s School, Sonarpur
Keeping its trend of expansion, Barrackpore Diocesan Education Society started the Sonarpur branch in 2006. It is a school of its kind pioneer in this area, with all new and scientific amenities. Plans are on the anvil for a modern campus on a 4.5 acre plot already acquired for this purpose on the outskirt of the township. The proposed school building with all modern amenities resembles some of the best schools of the city of Kolkata . The facilities are: garden, auditorium and swimming pool, hostels, indoor-outdoor sports complex, concealing centre for students and parents, healthy club etc. Apart from these we will have teacher’s experts in their own subjects.
We have started our expeditions with opening our Junior Section at the Mission Pally of Sonarpur, for the tiny tots – A School in a Garden. Why Garden; yes it is something unusual. We all know that we are losing the greenery from our motherland, and the newborns are hardly getting the chance of experiencing those. Also, the children are losing their natural childhood – where they are having no time to go to park, and spend their time there. Heavy burden of books and baggage are forbidding them from spending some of their best times under the trees and in the beauties of the nature. But we are trying to make it natural without a feeling of the pinch of heavy burdens. At least one period a day can give them some relief – A period with the nature. It will be compulsory for them. Not that we are doing any favour to them. Rather we are trying to make it natural. The School got its affiliation with the CISCE, New Delhi in 2017
Moreover, you are already acquainted with the fact that we are doing and can make your dreams come true. May be your long waiting for the best is also over. Give us sometime, we will offer you with best opportunities for your child and its future.
