Ambience

Led by the philosophy “Small is Beautiful” the school was started with a small building in the main premises of St. Stephens Church. Now it has expanded itself with two other huge buildings, the main building being at Jessore Road and the Wesley Church Department at Gorabazar, DumDum Cantt. At present the school has total roll strength of nearly 4000. Here staff members and students maintain a close and familiar relationship. In the School, we all know each other and from “St. Stephen’s family unit”.

Our vision is to become a self satisfactory, proactive and leading institute offering quality capacity building services i.e. learning, teaching and counselling in the field of education to the students, teachers and other staff members of St. Stephen’s School in a challenging situation.

The school has a splendid eco-friendly campus and quite surroundings arranged decently with computer facilities along with internet connectivity and modern sports amenities with a playground, which are rare in other school of the city.

St. Stephens School thus offers today a proper ambience to the students of all religion and creed for fuller development their potentialities, who in turn shall improve the quality of life of the human race.
